Charge Of Darkness 13. Charge Of Darkness 14. Charge Of Darkness (max) 15. Stats 16. Nether Strike (max) 17 - 25. Stats Reasoning:- Q) Why level Empowering Haste 1st before Greater Bash? Greater Bash gives you extra damage on your ultimate at level 6 !!! A) empowering haste gives 4% damage from movespeed with each level increased. With your 295 movespeed, that translate to +12 damage. On the other hand, Greater Bash gives +25 damage / level. Now let's compare the differences between getting Greater Bash / Empowering haste at level 5 is more worth it:- i. Greate Bash gives +25 damage ii. Empowering Haste gives +12 damage At first glance, when Barathum uses Nether Strike at level6, it is obvious that he will get additional damage of +13. But if you give a serious thought about it, you will see that, when Barathum managed to churned out a bash at any instance, it will follow up with an additional (or two) hits. Now, get me? The follow up additional 1 or 2 hits is what makes the different. If Barathum gets additional 1 hit, it is a fair fight between Grater Bash and Empowering Haste; If he gets 2 hit, Empowering Haste wins. If Barathum never gets any bash, Empowering Haste still wins. So whichever scenerio takes place, it should be obvious that Empowering Haste is the one that we should level up first. Q) Why only learn Charge Of Darkness at level 7? A) Because before level7, Barathum's Mana is below 320. In order to cast Nether Strike + Charge, you need 200 + 120 mana. At level 7, Barathum has 325 mana. That is where u can get a kill, and that is when Charge Of Darkness comes into play. Q) Why so many levels of Charge Of Darkness? Isn't 1 level enough? A) For Barathum, faster movespeed means more damage. When u cast Charge at 1st level, it takes a long time before your movespeed becomes 522. At level 4 charge, the acceleration rate is very fast. If you play against experience players, You woulnd't want them to to notice that they are being charged, and so, charging them from a closer distance would mean lesser time for them to notice that they are being charged. Even if they notice, they wouldn't have the time to run to safety, as your movespeed is VERY FAST. Overall Item Build ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 1. Basher 2. Power Thread 3. Heart Of Tarrasque 2. Basher Skills 17-25. Stats As a strength hero, Tank for your team. With your Heart Of Tarrasque, you will be able to TANK towers and and be a tanker when your team pushes together. Hero Killing Method There are a lot of ways of doing it for Barathum. It really boils down to common sense and how fast you could react to different situations. I really can't list out all the possible senerios over here. But I'll go thru some of it here, and hope that it will be able to give you a clearer idea on how to think and react to different situation in order to get the best results. Let's go thru some points of Barathum first. i) Nether Strike actually sends you to your enemy's current location, at the same time, pushing your enemy as close as possible to your current location. You can say that it's actually a mini nether swap spell from Vengeful Spirit. ii) Barathum has a stun spell (Charge Of Darkness). iii) Barathum has a spell which makes him walk thru creeps so that he can chase enemy faster and easier. (Charge Of Darkness) With these in mind, you know that u have 2 spells, both, of which is capable of stunning your enemy. The drawback is that, both spells have a relatively long cast time. Here are the possibilities of using your spell combo:- 1. Nether Strike (pushing your enemy to your own creep wave) 2. Hit hit hit (hoping to get a Greater Bash) 3. If enemy flee, chase with Charge Of Darkness 1. You see a low hp hero on side lane. Immediately cast Charge on him 2. If he is an experienced player, he will run back 3. Evaluate the situation. If you think u can kill him with 2hits->NetherStrike->2hits, and take the damage from his tower, then go ahead. 1. Immediately Charge into an enemy in close range. 2. Hit him while he is stunned. Hope to get a few Greater Bash kicks in. 3. When enemy is about to run away, Nether Strike him and keep on hitting him. Conclusion This guide is by no mean a very detail guide, nor it be a very good guide. I admit the simplicity and brief walk through in it. The purpose of this guide is just to give the reader a cleare and better idea on how to maximise and use Barathum up to his optimum capability. With all his spells being non AoE, he should be beefed up and played as a tanker and sacrifice for his team in later stage. Just my humble opinion. At least, that's the way how i play him. Comments and suggestions are most welcome. :) ___________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________ leave me a message
